Component Factory

The Component Factory turns resources into advanced materials through production orders. It makes star metal, graphene mesh and helium-3 cells for certain developments.

Unlock the factory, research a recipe and reach the level required by the component. You also need workers and enough power to place an order.

Step by step

1. Open the Factory tab and choose a component.
2. Enter the quantity and review the total cost and duration.
3. Confirm the order. Its ingredients are paid immediately.
4. Check the queue. Each completed unit goes into the planet’s inventory.

Accepted orders cannot be cancelled. Before making a large batch, check what you will need. If research requires components, gather all of them on the planet you plan to select as the supplier.
