Nuclear Reactor

The Nuclear Reactor provides advanced power generation for colonies with higher demand. You must unlock it through research before you can build one.

Check the Energy tree and its Nuclear Theory requirement. Then compare the reactor’s construction cost with the cost of expanding your current power supply.

Any hydrogen listed in the construction cost is a one-time cost. The reactor does not consume hydrogen per hour while generating power. After each industrial expansion, check the energy balance and decide whether you need more capacity.
