The Chip Factory produces microchips for buildings, ships and other technology costs. Its steady output depends on workers and power.

Open its profile to check production and decide whether to upgrade the building or assign more staff. Regular microchip production does not consume minerals as ingredients.

Before starting an expensive build, compare your microchip stockpile with the cost. If chips are holding up several upgrades, assigning more people to the factory may help more than building another facility.
