Expand storage

Minerals, microchips, hydrogen and food each have separate storage. Manage storage from the Minerals Mine, Chip Factory, Hydrogen Mine and Farm, respectively.

Upgrading a production building and expanding its storage are separate actions. Higher output does not give you more room to store it.

Step by step

1. Open the structure that produces the resource.
2. Go to Storage.
3. Compare your stockpile with the current capacity.
4. Review the next storage upgrade and order it if you need more room.

When storage reaches its limit, passive accumulation of that resource slows down. If a delivery or other source pushes the stockpile above capacity, the excess does not disappear automatically for that reason.

Before you are away for a while or activate a booster, leave room for production. You can also spend or transport resources to free up storage.
