Nexus: Downfall is a browser-based space strategy game. You lead a group of survivors, develop a colony and decide how to grow: produce resources, research technology, explore new systems or contest territory.
You play in a shared universe alongside other players. You may encounter their colonies and fleets, as well as merchants and pirates. A strong economy is as important as choosing where to send your ships.
Progress takes time. Buildings, research and journeys each have their own timers. You can give an order and return later to check the result. Closing your browser does not stop the universe or protect your planets from attack.
Each universe is a separate game. Your account can join different universes, but your colonies and progress belong to the universe where you play.
