Build exploration and espionage probes

Probes have two different roles. S.P.E.C.T.R.A. probes map solar systems. A.R.G.U.S. probes gather information about planets through espionage.

Build both types at the Espionage Center. You need to research the model you want and meet its Center-level requirement.

Step by step

  1. Open the Espionage tree in Research and unlock the model you need.
  2. Open an Espionage Center on one of your planets.
  3. Go to Probe Factory and select a family, model and quantity.
  4. Review the cost and confirm the order.
  5. Wait for the probes to be added to your available inventory.

Advanced mapping models can reach more jump gates. Check the model’s range for your destination. Upgrading the Espionage Center does not give a basic probe greater range.
