Send a fleet and choose its mission
In this guide · Fleets
The mission decides what your fleet will do when it arrives. Select a target first, then check which actions are available there. A planet, an outpost and a debris field each offer different options.
| Mission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Transport | Carry resources to a planet or outpost; you can also transport components between planets. |
| Colonization | Found a colony on a valid planet. |
| Attack | Fight an eligible target. |
| Occupation | Hold a planet that meets the occupation conditions. |
| Planetary Defense | Assign a fleet to defend a planet. |
| Recycling | Collect resources from a debris field with suitable ships. |
| Pirate Attack | Fight a pirate presence. |
| Outpost Destruction | Attack a frontier outpost as a specific target. |
| Asteroid Mining | Extract resources from a belt when available. |
| Mining Raid | Attack a visible mining operation where permitted. |

An active mission takes one slot. The current limit is three missions plus the highest Spaceport level among your colonies. Levels from different Spaceports do not add together. Transport contracts in transit count too. If you cannot launch another mission, check your available slots and the status of current ones.
