An imperfect decentralised human compact, created to keep distant worlds connected without forcing them to be the same.

Born from Earth, lunar habitats and the first frontier colonies, the Federation made shared standards, logistics and mutual defence its answer to distance.

When the stars collapsed, no central plan could hold. Ports, civilian convoys and local commanders opened routes, saved archives and crossed the portals by their own judgement.

Its strength is choice: commerce, science, diplomacy or conquest can define a new human future.
